MEET DAVE

New Leadership Delivering Results for Andover. Reach out to say hi at dave@crowforandover.org

I grew up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, where my mother spent her career teaching at Lowell High School. Education has always been central in my life, both at home and in my community. I have lived in the greater Boston area for most of my adult life, and in 2013 my wife, Becky, and I chose Andover as the place to raise our family. We explored many communities, but Andover stood out for its engaged residents, strong civic culture, and outstanding public schools.

Becky and I are the proud parents of three children: Jackie (11), Teddy (14), and Patrick (16). From the beginning, our family has been deeply involved in the Andover community. I coach soccer with the Andover Soccer Association and have coached each of my children’s teams over the years. I also support Becky in her role as Operations Director for Andover Soccer. In addition, I have served on the Superintendent’s Budget Advisory Council, the Redistricting Advisory Council, and the School Start Times Advisory Group, giving me firsthand experience with the challenges and tradeoffs facing our schools.

Professionally, I am a strategic sales executive at Ironclad, an international software company. Over the course of my career, I have held leadership roles across sales, technology, and customer support. My work has consistently focused on collaboration, thoughtful decision-making, and building consensus to achieve long-term success.

I hold a Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business. I regularly develop and evaluate business cases for multi-million-dollar investments, working with diverse stakeholders to weigh costs, benefits, and long-term impact. As a legal technology and AI executive, I also negotiate complex contracts and analyze risk—experience that will be valuable as the School Committee works with a new superintendent and negotiates collective bargaining agreements.

I am ready to bring my experience, judgment, and commitment to public service to the Andover School Committee. As a parent, coach, and community member, I understand the importance of strong public schools. As a professional, I bring the skills needed to ask hard questions, make informed decisions, and help ensure Andover continues to provide excellent educational opportunities for every student.
